Accessibility statement
What we are aiming for
We want anyone running a shop to be able to use this site and reach us, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
What is actually built in
Not aspirations. These are in the code today.
- Contrast is measured, not eyeballed. Body text sits at 13.4:1 against the page, well past the 4.5:1 minimum. Every accent colour was measured before it was used, and combinations that failed were changed rather than shipped. The blue buttons carry white text on them at 5.3:1, and the button fill itself stands out from the page at 3.8:1.
- Cards are opaque, so the numbers are direct. These panels used to be frosted glass, which meant text on a card sat over whatever showed through it and the real ratio had to be computed for the blend. They are solid now, so what can be measured is what you get: body text on a card is 12.1:1.
- A visible focus indicator everywhere. Keyboard focus draws a two-tone ring, a high-contrast inner outline plus a page-coloured outer halo. The inner ring is 18.6:1 against the page. Both rings sit outside the element rather than on it, which is what keeps the ring readable on the blue buttons as well as on cards and on the page itself.
- Skip link. The first thing a keyboard or screen reader user reaches on every page is a link straight to the main content.
- Touch targets. Every button, phone number and standalone link is at least 44 by 44 pixels, including the links in the footer, which is larger than the standard asks for. Links inside a sentence are the height of that sentence, because stretching them would break the paragraph around them.
- Text scales. Nothing is sized in a way that blocks browser zoom or your own minimum font size. The layout reflows to 200% zoom without clipping or horizontal scrolling.
- Reduced motion is respected. If your system asks for less motion, the scroll animations and smooth scrolling switch off. Nothing on the site flashes, autoplays or moves on its own.
- One dark theme. The site is dark in every system appearance setting, so there is one set of colours and every number on this page applies to it.
- Real HTML. Headings are in order, the navigation is a
nav, the FAQ is nativedetailselements that work with a keyboard and a screen reader without any custom scripting, and the hours are a real table with row headers. - Colour is never the only signal. Anything indicated with colour is also indicated with text, a shape or a position.
- No JavaScript required. The site ships none, so nothing breaks if scripts are blocked or fail to load.
- Decorative things are hidden from screen readers. Icons and the spec panel in the header area are marked decorative so they are not read out as noise.
Known limits
We would rather tell you than let you find out.
- The sticky header and the phone call bar sit over the page on a background blur. In browsers without support they fall back to a solid tint of the page colour, which is the same contrast to read against, just without the frosting.
- The scroll-in animations use a newer CSS feature. Where it is unsupported, content simply appears immediately, which is the correct outcome.
- The site has not yet been through a formal third-party audit, and it has not been tested with every combination of screen reader and browser.

Getting an answer another way
If any part of this site is a barrier, you never have to use it to do business with us. Phone and text reach a person during opening hours, Monday to Saturday, 9 to 6 Eastern, and we will read a want list out, take one down, or work through pricing with you over the phone.
